If individuals would like to help they can make cards and send them, write letters to the residents to bring their spirits up. You can send these to: Attention: Volunteer Department, 20531 Darden Road, South Bend, IN 46637
These items would be greatly appreciated to cheer our residents up and will be distributed to each and every resident. Thank you for your cooperation and contributions.

We depend on the generosity of our volunteers to help enhance the quality of life for our residents. Caring individuals of all ages offer their time, support and skills every day.
Whether you want to assist with resident activities, serve as a driver or help us maintain our gardens, you can find the right volunteer opportunity that fits your schedule and interests at Healthwin.
Opportunities include:
- Resident transportation
- Resident entertainment
- Assistance in main dining room
- Assistance with special interest groups
- One-to-one interaction with residents
- Gardening and grounds maintenance
- Provision of resident educational programs
- Assistance with special events (prom, resident picnic, holiday dinners)
- Assistance with activities in the recreation room and activities kitchen
