PRN QMA, 1st & 2nd Shift

  • Must have Indiana CNA certification
    • Must have Indiana QMA certification
  • Previous Healthcare, Geriatrics, Caregiving, or experience working with the elderly population preferred.
  • The Qualified Medication Aide sets up, administers, and records certain prescribed medications for residents in the facility under the supervision of a licensed nurse and as allowed by State regulatory agencies.

Housekeeper– Days; 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Rotating weekends

Receptionist – various times/ days

  • Answers incoming calls and assists in placing outside calls for residents or staff following specific procedures.
  • Announces information over the Public Address System to include paging of staff according to the Switchboard policy.
  • Responsible for reporting any telephone, security system, vending machines, office equipment, elevator problems, etc., to proper individuals or agencies as specified in the Switchboard Handbook.
  • Process all incoming and outgoing mail as appropriate and maintains postal meter.
  • Performs clerical duties as assigned including copying, filing, faxing, and typing which will be interrupted when the switchboard console demands attention.
  • Responsible for being the Center of Communication during drills, actual fires, disasters, or other emergency situations.
  • Greet and direct visitors, residents, and employees to their destination in a helpful and courteous manner. 
  • Maintains ending machine petty cash fund.
  • Receives and personally maintains payment for guest and employee meal tickets.
  • Produces census notification and disbursement to specific departments.
  • Performs a variety of tasks as requested by the Communications Supervisor.
  • Maintains accurate and neat files for all jobs performed.
  • Secures area at the end of shift.
  • Maintains resident pendant and pendant sign-in/out sheet.
  • Maintains weekend banking cash box and dispersal of resident funds.
  • Maintains Lobby refreshment tables and notifies the Dietary department when supplies are low.
  • Completes additional duties as assigned.

Assistant Director of Nutritional Services

  • CDM Preferred
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Must possess the ability to work harmoniously with and supervise professionals and non-professionals.
  • Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures, necessary for providing quality service and maintaining a sound operation.
  • Must have the patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm as well as be willing to handle residents, staff, and visitors based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning.
  • Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices.
  • Must be able to maintain good personnel relations and employee morale.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to speak the English language in an understandable manner.
  • Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, families, staff and support personnel.
  • Working knowledge of computers and equipment required, including experience with word processing and data entry.
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of Dietary policy.
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of the Dietary Department budget and financial planning.
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of the Dietary Department capital plan.
  • Assists in the compliance of State and Federal sanitation guidelines.
  • Assists department director in the planning, conducting, and scheduling of in-service training classes regarding the special needs of the residents.
  • Attends and participates in workshops, seminars, etc. to keep current in the retirement service field as well as professional knowledge and status.
  • Other duties as assigned by the director.

Nursing Supervisor- 6:00 am – 6:00 pm

Must possess the ability to share knowledge of the needs of the elderly, disabled, and confused residents.  Display the ability to identify and promote restorative measures.  Demonstrate the ability to acquire, maintain, and convey knowledge of pertinent state and federal regulations applicable to the long-term care setting.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Function as facility supervisor.
  • Monitor the quality of resident care given.
  • Function as a team member of nursing administration.
  • Maintain professional competence.
  • Carry out disciplinary actions/counseling as directed by the assistant directors of nursing or the director of the nursing department according to the Healthwin Specialized Care corrective actions policy and procedure.
  • Adhere to safety and infection control policies and procedures.
  • Practice and provide guidance for performance improvement.
  • Perform all additional duties as assigned.

Dietary — Part Time — Day- Afternoon Shift

Job Requirements:

  • Duties include setting and clearing tables, delivering and serving food to residents from the kitchen in a timely efficient, friendly fashion and performing various cleaning tasks and side work. Must be friendly and able to coordinate multiple tasks.

Part time Wait Staff: 3:45 pm – 7:15 pm– Strong customer focus is necessary.  The primary function is serving resident meals in the Main Dining Room including but not limited to, communicating the menu for the meal, taking orders for each resident, serving food to residents.

Part time Dietary Aide: 7:30 am – 3:30 pm-Performs a variety of kitchen duties such as dish room operation, works on try line meal assembly, prepares special items for meal service, and general cleaning assignments.

Part time Dietary Aide: 4:00 pm – 7:30 pm -Performs a variety of kitchen duties such as dish room operation, works on try line meal assembly, prepares special items for meal service, and general cleaning assignments.

Part time Cook: 12:30 pm – 7:00 pm
